Partnering with Arcadia Digital as their strategic business guide, Superfeet embarked on a complete digital transformation. Recommending Shopify as their new platform, Arcadia brought in Shopify Platinum Partner and digital agency CQL to bring the vision to life. Shopify’s stable, scalable foundation not only elevated Superfeet’s brand, but it also gave their team more flexibility, speed, and tools to engage customers around the world.

Since launching their new Shopify experience, Superfeet has seen:

The challenge: A legacy brand ready to scale

Behind the scenes, internal efficiency was also a key priority. The brand’s legacy system made content updates and campaign rollouts far too dependent on technical resources. As a result, speed-to-market suffered, and innovation stalled.

The solution: Redefining how athletes shop for performance insoles

Introducing a bold new brand evolution to reclaim its performance roots, Supefeet’s new digital experience uses visual storytelling, guided selling, and an elevated design aesthetic to create a more immersive brand presence that celebrates athletes across trails, courts, job sites, and city streets.

To make it easy for customers to find the right fit, the team restructured the site’s architecture around lifestyle and performance needs. Filtering by arch height, cushioning, and insole thickness, shoppers can easily compare products—and dive deeper with Superfeet’s insole finder or explore options for fully custom insoles.

One of the biggest unlocks has been how user-friendly Shopify’s platform is for building and managing content. The new build empowers Superfeet’s marketing and merchandising teams to launch campaigns and create content-rich pages without heavy developer lift. With layout components in place through Shopify’s platform, CQL built custom layout components and interactive modules that now highlight the brand’s product technology in engaging, educational ways, including interactive page components and clear product comparisons.

Supporting their international growth, CQL also helped Superfeet implement Shopify Markets and Shopify Translate & Adapt to manage tailored experiences across the US, Canada, and UK. By integrating the Shopify platform with Yotpo, Recharge, Searchspring, and Avalara, Superfeet can now streamline operations, elevate the shopping experience, and deliver a strong expression of the Superfeet brand to consumers worldwide. Each region now features market-specific messaging, product assortments, language, and currency—streamlining operations while delivering localized relevance that resonates with customers in each market.

The results: Stepping into a new era of growth 

With the power of Shopify and strategic partnerships with Arcadia and CQL, Superfeet now has a platform that offers the stability and flexibility to keep putting their best foot forward. Their internal teams can move faster, their customers have a clearer path to the right product, and their digital experience reflects the performance ethos that’s defined the brand for nearly 50 years.

In the first year post-launch, Superfeet saw a 6% increase in sessions, driven by enhanced merchandising and content on their site. With guided selling and improvements to the shopper experience, they’ve increased transactions by 19%. Overall, the migration has resulted in a 19% increase in revenue—thanks to both conversion gains and their expanded global reach.
